INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND

Norway Registers Development AS (NRD) has during the last 15 years been specializing in the designing, development and implementation of legal, institutional and operational framework supporting business enabling environment and the management of property rights ruled by law. The NRD services and experiences cover consultancy, institutional building and training, system designing and implementation and operation services as integrated solutions for effective operation of registration services.

The NRD fields of experiences cover the complete range of activities from the raising of awareness and political commitment, project designing and preparations, implementation support and execution as well as register operation and maintenance. Having specialized in registration reforms, NRD has accumulated a wide experience in designing, implementation and management of register projects.

UAB NRD (see www.nrd.lt) was created in 1997 and operates as the NRD IT Development Centre. Over the years UAB NRD has established a long and broad experience in the state of the art register technology. The staffs are by offensive training and ISO certification delivering on time, at budget and to customers' satisfaction.
